What’s the plan?
We’re hosting a few optional, casual events leading up to the wedding, and all of the gatherings leading up to the wedding are on us. If you’re local (or traveling with little ones), kids are absolutely welcome at these events, even if we weren’t able to accommodate them at the reception. These are meant to be drop-in, come-as-you-are events, so join us whenever you can.

Casual Dinner and Beers
Rhinegeist Brewery at their Rooftop Bar, 1910 Elm St, Cincinnati, OH 45202
6:00–8:30 PM
Kick things off with us at Rhinegeist’s rooftop for a laid-back evening of food, drinks, and catching up. Come by for a quick hello or stay awhile we’ll be hanging out and soaking in one of the best views of the city.
Food: Pho Lang Thang, Assortment of Bahn Mi, Spring Rolls, & Salad-Will have vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options

Pizza and Pickleball Tournament
Lunken Playfield, 4740 Playfield Ln, Cincinnati, OH 45226
5:30–8:30 PM
Pizza, friendly competition, and plenty of room to just hang out. You’re welcome to jump into the pickleball tournament, cheer from the sidelines, or simply come socialize. Bring any and all extra paddles you have on hand. Be there by 6:00pm to to ensure we can work you into the bracket. If joining the tournament feels intimidating you can also come and play casually on one of the several courts we’ll have reserved.
Food: Pizza from Guardia Pizza-we will have gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan pizza available in addition to all the classic zaaaas
***Katie’s dad, Kelley, is the “shuttle driver” for the weekend. Please call or text him by Friday afternoon if you would like him to take you from the Summit hotel to pickleball at 5:00pm.

Wedding Reception

Time to celebrate for realz with an unforgettable night together at Colette…a funky French-inspired restaurant located in Cincinnati’s Over the Rhine neighborhood. It's right across from scenic Washington Park, making it a beautiful and lively spot in the heart of downtown. There is a parking garage located directly across from the restaurant beneath Washington Park at 1310 Elm St, Cincinnati, OH 45202. However, we strongly recommend using a rides-hare service or the complimentary shuttle from the Summit Hotel, as the downtown concert is expected to make parking limited and more expensive.
Reception Wedding Attire: Our venue is a stylish restaurant with a funky, modern vibe, so we recommend festive cocktail attire. Think colorful dresses, fun prints, stylish suits, or anything that feels polished while showing off your personality.
Most importantly, we want you to feel comfortable! This is simply a recommendation, please wear whatever makes you feel your best. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Casual lunch at Factory 52

Since we have so many people coming in from out of town we thought it’d be fun to squeeze in a few more hours of quality time. Join us at Factory 52 in Norwood at Fretboard Brewing which is the downstairs brewery of the food hall. The food hall has options for all appetites! Again, if you live in town this is an extremely kid-friendly spot so if we weren’t able to accommodate your kiddos at the reception we would love to see them at lunch!
